      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;As our Category Manager - Brand Initiatives, you&amp;#39;ll lead the execution of the global category integration strategy through the brand initiative plans across four key categories for FY10, including Football, Running, Basketball and Action Sports (FY11 includes Women&amp;#39;s Training, Athletic Training, Sportswear and Kids).&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll drive the strategy&amp;nbsp;for&amp;nbsp;other key social and environmental initiatives, such as emergency response&amp;nbsp;or global brand&amp;nbsp;activation,&amp;nbsp;as it relates to consumer engagement and mobilization across the&amp;nbsp;Nike Brand.&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll support global categories&amp;#39;&amp;nbsp;brand initiatives&amp;nbsp;planning processes to set the integrated&amp;nbsp;social and environmental&amp;nbsp;marketing direction across the team, including advertising, PR, sports marketing, product marketing, retail marketing, digital, presence marketing, grassroots initiatives, etc.&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll ensure that Sustainable Business &amp;amp; Innovation (SB&amp;amp;I)&amp;nbsp;strategic priorities under Innovate for a Better World Through Sport are included in global category marketing, brand and event plans. You&amp;#39;ll utilize internal and/or external partnerships to leverage resources and enhance business effectiveness.&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll consult with Consumer Culture team to develop consumer connectivity and concept development around social and environmental issues. &lt;DIV&gt;As our Co-op Intern, you&amp;#39;ll work approximately 10 hours per week at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, on a year-round, ongoing basis.&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll send email to suppliers to request water use and management data (collected via an online questionnaire and database).&amp;nbsp;You&amp;#39;ll review submitted data and lab test reports for accuracy and compliance with applicable local/national environmental standards and Nike water quality guidelines.
